Your school/potential employer is requesting the listed information from all of the applicants in order to evaluate the results of their recruitment efforts. As part of the risk management process and as a condition of employment or admission into the healthcare program/employment, and in order to comply with state and federal laws, your school/potential employer is requiring Englander Investigations to run criminal history checks, background checks, DMV history, possibly drug screening, etc. for certain positions. These types of records are covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (i.e. motor vehicle records, criminal history checks). Once completed, Englander Investigations will provide the applicant with a report via email or a hard copy via USPS. The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives specific rights in dealing with agencies that provide these types of reports to the requesting parties. By applying online for the investigation, you are hereby acknowledging the information you supplied on the form is correct. You are also authorizing Englander Investigations to act on behalf of your employer or school to obtain the necessary information and to supply the information to the school/potential employer you are applying to.
